Pedro Trotz, producer and sound tech, recorded his early works of experimental electronic music in the mid 80's, in a style between industrial and cup-up. In the 90's. he assisted in recording some of the seminal hits of the majorcan house scene, contributed to promoting electronic music as a member of collectives Tecnofamilia and later Virus/Antivirus labels. He has released by himself or with members of the latter collective original tracks and releases in labels such as Weekend, Stereo, Subterfuge, Moss, Underphone, Kidesol, Clubstar, Pasatiempos, etc…. Now, his activities are focused on UBIK, the sound creation center. He has recently taken up his solo live acts again, playing as much in clubs (Fonica, Underclub, Cube, Zentral…) as in Festivals (Ping, Festia+, Pitch 2006, Centremàtic…). He has just released the album "Proyecto Humanoide" with a music style that could be defined as experimental minimal and that he performs live using theremin, voice processors and other electronic gadgets. In 2007 he has also released tracks in labels such as Irdial, A.C.A., Upfront and Subversive Media, as well as a Remix for Compost (for Wagon Cookin' in collaboration with his friend Isaac Indart). In the next months a new album, named "Sintètic", is to be published in surround 5.1 DTS format, and also some other surprises in two just born techno lables from Mallorca, Audecks and Filt. It's been a busy year :)
